The first half of 2026 hands Momo an open door; the second half asks what Momo is willing to carry through it.
AT A GLANCE
The year starts generous and ends demanding. Both halves are real, and they are not the same year.
From January into June, Momo's ideas travel further than usual with less effort — a stretch that rewards saying yes early. From late March onward a slower pressure builds around affection, taste and agreements, and by August a restlessness in the body and the schedule refuses to stay quiet. The job of 2026 is to spend the easy months building something the hard months cannot dismantle.
The year's job
To convert an unusually fluent spring into structure that survives an unsentimental autumn.
When it opens
January through mid-May, with early February and mid-April the most fluent stretches, and a warm late-August window for a relationship or a look that had gone stiff.
When it presses
March, then June through October — June and mid-September on what Momo values and agrees to, mid-August and early October on nerves, pace and the body.
What it leaves
A shorter list of commitments, held more firmly, and a clearer sense of what Momo will not agree to again.
What the year is for
The year is generous first and strict later, and Momo has to notice the handover.
For roughly the first five months, things Momo says land well and travel far. Words arrive already sharpened, plans get approval without a fight, and there is a temptation to read that ease as permanent. It is not. From late March a slower weight settles over what Momo values — commitments, taste, the terms of arrangements — and it does not lift by December. Then from August a second pressure arrives in the body and the calendar: an impatience with routines that were fine in February. The year's one job is the handover between those two weathers. Momo will recognise the moment: a yes given lightly in spring that has to be honoured, properly and expensively, in September. Momo's chart is built for that — deep, private, willing to finish things — but the finishing costs more than the starting did.
WHAT HELPS
Use January to May to commit to fewer, bigger things, and write down the terms while the mood is generous. Put down the assumption that momentum will keep carrying it.

When it happens
Two open doors in spring, then a long corridor from June to December.
January opens mid-flow: speech is fluent, offers arrive, and a nervy strangeness around how Momo thinks and communicates runs alongside it until mid-April, sharpest in early February. Early February and mid-April are the year's most fluent stretches — decisions made then tend to hold. March 11 brings the first friction with taste and affection: too much of a good thing, or a warmth Momo cannot quite calibrate. From late March the long work begins. June 9 and September 13 are the two tests of what Momo values and has agreed to. Late August, briefly, softens it — a genuine warm window around August 28. Then mid-August and early October press hardest on nerves, pace and physical patience, and October 11 makes speech feel effortful again. The birthday on November 9 arrives inside that pressure, not after it.
WHAT HELPS
Front-load the year: decide in February and April what Momo wants to be defending in September. Keep late August clear enough to enjoy the one soft window.

Closeness this year
Momo keeps the door open and quietly checks who keeps walking through it.
Closeness in 2026 gets audited. Early in the year Momo is easy company — warm, quick, quotable, and people arrive in numbers. By March there is slight overwhelm: too many claims on the same affection, and a sense of having been generous past the point of accuracy. From June onward the weather turns colder and more useful. Momo notices who is actually available and who was only nearby. Some ties feel formal, effortful, oddly distant; that distance is information, not failure. Momo's natural fairness wants to keep everyone comfortable, and this year that instinct gets outvoted by the harder question of what Momo actually wants. Mid-September is the sharpest version of it. Late August, by contrast, gives one stretch where an old warmth reopens without negotiation.
WHAT HELPS
Say the awkward preference out loud instead of accommodating and resenting. Put down the habit of keeping everyone equally close.

Work & money this year
The easy yes in February becomes the expensive obligation in September.
Work moves fast and favourably through spring. Ideas get greenlit, collaborators are receptive, and travel and scheduling arrange themselves with unusual cooperation. Momo should treat this as a buying window, not a permanent climate. From June a stricter accounting begins around agreements, worth and what Momo is paid in — not scarcity so much as renegotiation, and slower than Momo would like. From mid-August the body enters the conversation: a schedule that fit earlier now chafes, and the urge to break a working pattern arrives suddenly rather than by decision. Early October is the loudest version. October also makes explaining things harder — more drafts, more corrections, more clarifying what seemed obvious. None of this reads as a shrinking year. It reads as a year where the price of what was agreed becomes visible.
WHAT HELPS
Renegotiate the terms of anything that is starting to feel unfair rather than absorbing it and speeding up. Guard the physical load through August to October, especially the days around October 9.

Who they are this year
Momo starts the year sure of the voice and ends it sure of the limits.
Early 2026, Momo feels articulate in a way that is almost suspicious — the right sentence arrives on time, repeatedly. Underneath, until April, something in how Momo thinks is being rewired: old opinions stop fitting, and there are days when Momo cannot locate the familiar reaction. That is unsettling for someone whose sense of self runs through depth of thought rather than surface. The second half is quieter and more serious. Momo becomes less interested in being liked and more interested in being accurate. The birthday in early November falls inside that seriousness, which gives the whole stretch a slightly weathered tone rather than a celebratory one. What changes is not confidence but its source: less from the response Momo gets, more from the standard Momo holds.
WHAT HELPS
Let the unfamiliar opinions stand for a few weeks before defending or discarding them. Stop measuring the year by how buoyant February felt.

What it leaves behind
Fewer commitments, held properly, and a clearer no.
What 2026 hands forward is discrimination. Momo enters the year able to say yes to almost anything and leaves it knowing the actual cost of a yes — which is a more valuable instrument than the spring's fluency ever was. Two of the year's pressures are still running as December closes, so this is not a story that resolves neatly on New Year's Eve; the questions about worth, agreements and pace carry over. That is worth knowing in advance rather than experiencing as failure. What is finished is the old arrangement of relationships and routines that Momo had outgrown but kept for tidiness. What is new, and still unformed, is a working life that fits the body Momo actually has.
WHAT HELPS
Write down in December the three commitments Momo would keep if only three were possible, and let the next year test that list.

A word from the stars
2026 gives Momo the good half first, which is unusual and easy to waste. Spend January to May deciding what is worth defending, because from June the year stops asking what Momo can do and starts asking what Momo will stand behind. Nothing here breaks; it narrows, and narrower is stronger.
